Size Zero Update On Controversial Model

Last year former model Isabelle Caro made a stand against size zero models during Milan Fashion Week by posing naked and emaciated on billboards, to show the effects of suffering from anorexia from the start of her adolescence.  After much controversy she has returned to modelling despite the ongoing battle to beat anorexia.

At the age of 13 she weighed 4st 9lbs, she was first admitted to hospital at the age of 20 and by the age of 24 slipped into a coma after her weight plummeted to just 3st 9lbs.

Isabelle is currently following treatment, she is 5ft 5 and currently weighs 6st with her target weight of 6st 3lbs. Isabelle has also written a book titled ‘The little girl who refused to eat’, her reason for being anorexic stems from her childhood. Her mother had a phobia of her growing up so she starved herself to have a body of a child.

Isabelle is currently 26 and despite suffering from anorexia for the last 13 years has been with her partner for the last two years. They intend to start a family in the future though they know there is a high chance that anorexia has left her infertile, only time will tell if she is able to conceive.
